Montana Horse Sanctuary Grants
A grant from the Sanctuary isn’t charity — it’s teamwork!
We provide grants within Montana only. Contact Jane Heath at info@montanahorsesanctuary.org to request a grant application form.
PLEASE NOTE: At this time we are only able to provide funding for horses within the state of Montana.
Who is eligible
Horse owners: For horse owners, our grant program is for those suffering financial hardships. The money is intended to help you get through a difficult period so you can get back to being able to provide for your horses. We usually give only one grant per person.
Rescue groups: For fellow rescue groups we give a variety of grants focusing mainly on capacity building. We want to help you by increasing your ability to raise funds and focusing on success. Contact us to learn more.
Adopters of Montana Horse Sanctuary horses: We provide a variety of grants to help you continue providing a forever home to your horse or donkey. Let us know how we can help you.
Law Enforcement Agencies: If you are a county sheriff’s office or animal control, we can help you meet care and feeding expenses for seizures of equines in cruelty cases. We can also help provide expert advice and educational support regarding the care and rehabilitation of starved and traumatized equines. Contact us to learn more. We provide large grants for this purpose. The grant application is a quick process and we will be happy to assist you with it.
